The first thing readers do with dynasty rankings is look for the outliers. What players are the ranking author sticking their neck out for and against compared to the average? With a quick and dirty chart, I compared my positional rankings (neutral settings in the trade calculator) to July 2015 Dynasty ADP courtesy of DLF. UTH Target Players: Quarterbacks
Ryan Tannehill
After the first 4-5 players of close to chalk comparing UTH rankings and ADP, Ryan Tannehill stands out with a 3-spot positional bump. While quarterback is fine position to pass on until the late rounds of a startup, Tannehill is the exception. He has his best collection of weapons yet and has an Aaron Rodgers-like rushing upside annually. The best way to maximize Tannehill’s value is trading ‘down’ from a bigger name at the position to get Tannehill plus some additional trade juice on the side in existing leagues.
