Spencer Ware has seen an extreme uptick in value of late. Charcandrick West is dinged up and Ware exceled on late-game touches against San Diego. Ware has quality agility (7.07 3-cone) for his near-230 pound frame of note. This deeper roster 12-team league is in Year 1 and I am in line for the 1.01 selection. It was a designed productive struggle season as I put Todd Gurley and Kevin White on the taxi squad back in August with no intention to active them for their rookie seasons.
Ware was one of a few running backs I stashed along the way this season (Javorius Allen, Antonio Andrews, Zac Stacy, Jordan Todman were others) hoping for a quick flip. Ware was the first to go with his strong game and waiver wire sizzle. Plus, his potential late-season production does zero good to a team focused on 2016. Holding through the deadline could result in a profit loss come January.
