My good friend at dynastyleaguefootball.com (and rotoworld) Ryan McDowell has the well-deserved title (at least in my mind) as the ADP guru. He runs the mock drafts that generate ADP on a regular basis that is spread around the dynasty water cooler like a steamy high school dating rumor.
He penned an article over at Rotoworld that I missed amidst the preseason ramp-up, finding it just yesterday. McDowell outlined three basic approaches to a dynasty startup using the current ADP at the time (August 2014). In this post, each of those rosters will be assessed with a full season and a round of NFL free agency in the rear-view mirror. Check out Ryan’s full article from back in August.
Using my dynasty team power rankings function, here are how the three teams fared in maintaining their value a mere eight months later:
- Listed in order of ADP-Drafted
- Total Roster Value based on Chad Parsons’ Player Values on 3.30.2015
- Average dynasty team value in 12-man league is 200
