Dynasty roundtable discussions draw in a number of viewpoints and emphasize the power of a group focusing on central questions. Expect dynasty roundtable installments to be more frequent going forward.

What non-football podcast is your guilty pleasure? If there isn’t one, what is a hobby you dig into more once the season is over?

Katie Flower: I am a competitive shooter and during football season I don’t get to shoot any matches.  So in the “off-season” I will get back to IDPA and USPSA matches every Saturday morning.  I also am a gardener so that gets more love once the main football season is over.

Tim Torch: The Watching Dead- Walking Dead Podcast by Bald Move

Chad Parsons: I am a ‘loyal little’ of the Tony Kornheiser show. I’ve listened to nearly every show since I was in Texas for college way back in the 1990s. Now that I am transitioning to Florida from more than decade in the DC area, Tony will keep me in the know about the Redskins, Capitals collapses, Wizards’ lack of direction, local traffic, weather, and all of his quirks. Kill Tony is a solid standup comedy podcast I just started a few weeks ago. Jim Florentine’s Comedy Metal Midgets, Getting Doug with High, Hack the Entrepreneur, and Young Entrepreneur Lifestyle are all in my rotation monthly. Sklarboro Country is another fun listen. Tennis is one of my main hobbies, I play more in the non-football months for sure.
Tim Smith: I listen to some writing related podcasts like Prolific (focused on rhetoric and composition in higher Ed), and the WET podcast (Writing, Education Technology). I am going to have to start listening to the Walking Dead pod Tim mentioned (thanks Tim!).
Joey Magallanes: My non-football podcast is TED Radio Hour. TED talks are really interesting to me and I love to learn about new things. I also listen to “Wait Wait… Don’t Tell Me! for a fun take on the news for the week.
