Fantasy football is very much a ‘what have you done for me lately’ endeavor with players and their value. Dynasty takes a longer lens, but in the midst of the regular season – there are plenty of redraft moments, big reactions to the past week or two, and of course holding poor play (or strong games) in the fantasy playoffs over a player for the entire offseason. Here are the some highlights – and lowlights – from the final month (Weeks 13-16) of the 2015 fantasy football season at quarterback:

The Highlights

Cam Newton: Games of 57 and 49 points in the final month. However, 17 points in Carolina’s lackluster road loss in Atlanta in Week 16 halts a red-hot stretch for Newton this season. Newton likely got owners to the title game, but was QB19 in the critical week.

Russell Wilson: Like Cam Newton, Wilson had two dominant games to get owners into the final two weeks. Even Wilson’s Week 16, his lowest point total since Week 10, was rock solid with 328 total yards and two touchdowns.

Kirk Cousins: Led the position in fantasy points with 40+ in Weeks 15 and 16, plus was QB4 over the final month. Fueled a dominant season from Jordan Reed as well.

Ryan Fitzpatrick: Three games of more than 30 points in the last month and, like Kirk Cousins, had no name value even later this season.

Drew Brees: He was iffy for Week 16, but churned out his third-best performance of the season against the toothless Jacksonville defense. Brees also logged 3-touchdown games against Carolina and Detroit in the final month. Even his low-water mark in Week 14 against Tampa Bay was 27 points, 312 yards, and a pair of touchdowns.

Blake Bortles: He was incredibly consistent with four straight games of 29 points or more, including two weeks of at least 40 points. The schedule broke right as Jacksonville faced three below-average pass defenses, including the Saints in Week 16.

The Lowlights

Philip Rivers: As the Chargers faded to the finish, Rivers had three forgettable games over the last month. He totaled four touchdowns and four interceptions, including two games without a score and less than 12 points in each.

Aaron Rodgers: While he avoided interceptions overall this season, Rodgers and the Packers passing game has been a massive disappointment. In the most critical weeks of the season (15-16), Rodgers delivered a dud with a good matchup against Oakland (204-1-1 passing), followed by the shred job at the hands of Arizona in Week 16 (…and Rodgers just got sacked, again) with 170 total yards and a single touchdown. Worth noting Rodgers also delivered a Week 15 dud (8 points) in 2014 with 185-0-2 passing.
