There are general prototypes of metric profiles in the projection model and Braxton Miller is clearly in the boom-bust bucket. The first grouping is a quality athlete without collegiate production behind it. These are the risky but potential high-upside options like Miller. They have the physical tools but did not excel beyond their peers and competition in college. The other group is the high-production but physically limited prospects. They tend to be more ‘NFL ready’ for work early in their career, but will have ‘can they sustain a significant role’ question marks and likely be a sell high recommendation once they flash.
