Matt Jones is quite possibly the least productive running backs to be drafted in the top-100 by the NFL since 1999. I have mentioned on the podcast and other avenues that my affinity for Jones is based primarily on his Florida tape. From the projection model view, the only thing to like about Matt Jones is his combination of a big frame with some wiggle (good weight-adjusted 3-cone time).
A top-100 draft pick with Jones’ low level of college production is rare. However, the last two running backs with a combined -100% or lower production score offer optimism.
