A unicorn of sorts in this 2015 rookie class, Breshad Perriman of the University of Central Florida (UCF) could be one of the biggest buys of your 2015 drafts. For a little more insight on Breshad Perriman check out his player profile written by UTH’s own Chad Parsons here.
UCF WR Breshad Perriman reportedly will not work out at the Combine this weekend due to an injury. Will work out at pro day.

Unfortunately for fans of the NFL combine and Breshad himself he was not medically cleared to participate in any drills that took place in Indianapolis. Luckily though for us and the rest of the world will more than likely get a chance to see him workout live on his college pro day at UCF on March 25th. This will be a great opportunity to get a closer look at some of Breshad’s unanswered abilities.
Who Is Breshad Perriman?
A wide receiver with all the requisite size to turn jump balls into “gimme” catches and then a little extra. Breshad the son of former NFL wideout Brett Perriman and former teammate Blake Bortles measured in at the combine an impressive 6’2″ tall and 215lbs. So what is the tale of the tape on this guy? UCF is not exactly a part of one of the most dominant conferences in the country (American Athletic Conference), but that does not mean we should discredit it either. At just 21 years old Perriman posted impressive numbers for any junior in the country regardless of conference (highlighted in black). Here is a look at all 3 of years at UCF.
NFL Draft StockWhat really stands out to me here is the his 2013 and 2014 final yards per catch. A player of his size that averages 20.9 yards per reception is extremely impressive. Now add in the 9 touchdowns he posted this year and you have a deep threat with serious big game abilities and the size to become a major factor inside the red zone. Perriman was also a prospect of a pro-style offense at UCF which gives him an immeiate leg up on a lot of other wide receivers in his class. In a current NFL that is in need of play makers with size, Perriman brings an interesting package to the draft board.
