For those of us not fortunate enough to taste to the joys of the post-season here is one more player most likely available on your leagues waiver wire to speculate on.

BRANDON COLEMANWR, New Orleans Saints

Brandon Coleman is a 6′-6″, 225lb wide receiver out of Rutgers and currently buried on the talented New Orleans Saints depth chat on the practice squad. A nice blend of size and speed make Brandon Coleman an intriguing dynasty league add from an athleticism angle. Despite what his future projected potential may be these are the types of players we look for late in the year to camp-out on until next season. So for those of you that are interested in his comparables or future outlook, go check out the profile article on Brandon Coleman written by UTH’s own Chad Parsons.

Its no secret that the New Orleans Saints like to throw the ball as they rank 2nd in league only behind the Indianapolis Colts with 538 attempts. Obviously there is volume to go around since the Saints are averaging 41 pass attempts per game. The real question comes down to opportunity, and that’s where the scenario get crowded. Below are just a few names of the wide receivers Coleman will have to leap frog for a shot at playing time:

Needless to say there are some talented names in in the list above. All the while Jimmy Graham is still the king of the New Orleans pass game castle and garners 25% of those weekly targets. I say all this to point out the obvious fact that Coleman’s road to relevance isn’t an easy one. Regardless of anything, his athleticism alone makes him a worthy candidate of a deep bench add. So if you were second guessing adding Brandon Coleman to your roster just remember the high octane offense he could potentially be a part of in 2015. It is always in our best interest to own as many shares as possible of these premier offenses, and here is just one more opportunity.

Make Extra Roster Space

The very simplest way to make extra roster space for these type of adds is to use the UTH method. The idea of this method is to drop your DST & K to create two extra bench spots for speculative player additions.

So without further ado, happy deep waiver wire hunting, and may all your pick ups turn into 2015 gems!
