At various points throughout the year, I go into a research bunker. Sometimes to tweak the projection model for the coming year. Other times it is a major rankings update or film session covering many players. Recently I took another visit to the research bunker to finally get to the bottom of positional age decline for dynasty fantasy football. There are plenty of age decline articles that come up when you search the general term and I have read them all over the years. Some are better than others, but none really helped all that much for incorporating something of value into my dynasty values. After adding even more data to my positional excel files, I hit an ‘aha moment’ where the clouds parted and the knowledge sun shined through about NFL dynasty age decline.
