Trading Post

A few weeks ago, I dealt Todd Gurley away for essentially Amari Cooper and Devonta Freeman. I was a middle-of-the-standings team and acquired two weekly starters. I knew Cooper would be a core asset unlikely to be traded away from my squad, while I immediately explored dealing Devonta Freeman. The market was tepid, so keeping Freeman to start – at least until out of the playoffs – was perfectly fine.

As I checked the live scoring before Monday Night Football in Week 9, however, I had lost, which would push me to 4-5 in this league. With three teams at 7-2 (four make the playoffs) and three more teams ahead of me with five games to play, I decided to shop Freeman again.

In addition to Freeman, I had short-term producer Darren McFadden who I had long before Joseph Randle was out of Dallas from the waiver wire. Adding McFadden to Freeman would certainly aid in my search for a sturdy long-term asset.
