The power of twitter strikes again with this series of polarizing dynasty players submitted to @ChadParsonsNFL. Every year there are players with a wide range of market value in dynasty leagues. Whether in a startup draft or via trading, we as owners must take a stand on one side or the other. With each player, I will give some arguments for and against them, finalizing with a conclusion on whether to turn away, or embrace them, as dynasty assets.

Glass Half-Full

  • New quarterback, plus Evans, Jackson, Seferian-Jenkins to stretch field and block
  • Gun-shy owners, potential to buy low
  • Former 1st round pick, better bet than lower-level talents to rebound
  • Has had success in NFL (2012 rookie season)
  • 3-down ability

Glass Half-Empty

  • Likely committee backfield
  • Dead-Last (of 57 eligible RBs) in PFF blocking rating in ’14
  • Charles Sims tempers PPR potential
  • Viable red zone targets in passing game hurt goal line chances
  • Tough to project high ceiling
