A dynasty season feels like it ends quickly in mid-December. Even if an owner is still setting lineups and making a waiver wire decision or two, the sprint of the regular season or negotiating trades is essentially over. The management attention takes a nosedive and the week or two closing the calendar year also closes the dynasty year.
