In 2016, Devontae Booker was drafted at No.136 in the NFL draft by the Denver Broncos. His ADP settled in at 12 in rookie drafts.

Booker represents a cautionary profile in rookie draft analysis. He was a 24-year-old rookie with two years of Junior College before sitting out a year because of academics. Booker was productive in two seasons at Utah with 3,595 total yards and 23 touchdowns. His senior season was cut short because of a meniscus tear in his knee which required surgery.

That knee surgery forced Booker to miss running and agility testing at his combine and pro day. As a result, owners were left with his tape and statistics when making an evaluation.
