The preseason is a critical time for dynasty owners. The rookie draft is in the rear view mirror in at least 90% of leagues and optimizing the final roster spots in advance of Week 1 is high on the to-do list for owners. Getting a few preemptive pickups correct for free (or low-cost) in advance of being hot waiver wire bidding targets improves a dynasty owner’s position dramatically for flip player flexibility and spot starters.
