We have been spoiled with small school running backs in recent years. David Johnson was a glaring target player by the metrics and ended up as a top-90 NFL Draft pick. Terrell Watson was a metric beast. Zach Zenner was very strong. Going to 204, Jerick McKinnon and Terrance West were top-100 selections and Lorenzo Taliaferro was on the early side of Day 3. 2016 is not one of those years, however, and do not expect a small school running back to grace the top-100, or maybe even top-200 of the 2016 NFL Draft.
