A few times per year a trade hits my inbox that I accept on the spot. In this case, the accepted trade involved polarizing Cordarrelle Patterson leaving my otherwise strong dynasty team post-rookie draft. I had not really shopped Patterson due to his sagging value this offseason and overt upside he flashed to end 2013.
The deal was an interesting one as Patterson is a player I recommend holding as a general rule and the player acquired was one I did not draft in a single rookie draft, Dorial Green-Beckham. Here are a few reasons for making the straight up swap:
