On face value it is hard to get excited about a wide receiver prospect that is likely to weigh-in below 190 pounds and not run in the low-4.4s. However, Rashad Greene has been productive in college averaging more than 75 YPG and over 0.5 TDs per game over his career. Here is the need-to-know metrics about the former Florida State wide receiver as he enters the NFL Draft process:
Fade to the Finish
Rashad Greene’s best college season was his first, way back at 19 years old. Greene broke out with a weighted market share of 35 that season, nearly double that of the typical 19-year-old to be drafted by the NFL. In three years since Rashad Greene did not even produce an average age-weighted season in terms of his team share metrics. Considering Greene’s NFL Draft estimate is inside of the top-100, that is concerning. Also, his touchdown numbers lagged behind his yardage accumulation. It is hard to blame him as a slightly-built middling athlete, which is not a combination that translates to the NFL stage – especially a high-level fantasy football status – well.
