2015 NFL Draft

Dating back to Michael Campanaro going to Baltimore in 2014, I have monitored the Ravens passing game for deep dynasty value. In 2015 metric favorite DeAndre Carter entered the mix. Now, there is a third name to add to the watch list or final roster spot Rolodex this summer: Jeremy Butler.

Butler was a 2014 rookie out of Tennessee-Martin, only to miss the entire season with a shoulder injury. Fast-forward to 2015 minicamp and Butler is turning heads and making plays.

The 2015 Baltimore passing game is up for grabs. Enter Marc Trestman and an offense that turned Josh McCown from journeyman to gem. Steve Smith is running on fumes in his career arc. Breshad Perriman is an athletic marvel, but still an incoming rookie not considered ready out of the box. Marlon Brown is zero draft pedigree. Kamar Aiken is in the flyer zone as well. Maxx Williams is a rookie. Crockett Gillmore is a lumbering target. Dennis Pitta has an uphill climb after a career threatening injury. It is easy to see why Campanaro, Carter, and now Jeremy Butler are on my situationally-valued mind: good system, good quarterback, and many available targets.
