Cody Latimer was a shooting star. Despite being an average recruit without much collegiate production, he zoomed up during the draft process in 2014 with a strong Athleticism Score. Then he was drafted at 56 overall. Despite minimal production early in the NFL, he was earmarked as the big benefactor in the twilight of Peyton Manning’s useful lifeline in Denver, only to continue miring on the bench.
